Spetses lies at the southern extremity of the Saronic Gulf. It has long been a holiday resort and has good hotels and a variety of entertainment facilities.

Spetses is one of the easiest Islands to get to. You can get there many ways like by Hydrofoil (They are called Flying Dolphins) from Pireaus. You can also take a ferry from Pireaus or You could take a bus or drive down. The fastest way is by hydrofoil. The Island is only 2 Nautical miles from the shore and is very close to islands such as Hydra, Poros and Aegina.

The island it’ s self is very nice. There are many Beaches including: Agia Marina, Agios Nikolas, Skoles, Agioi Anargiroi, Zogeria, Xilokeriza, Agia Paraskeui and many others! If you are the type of person that likes to do things such as sitting around and drinking coffee, then Spetses is the island for you! There are many different places for you to sit and drink coffee, have a snack or have a desert. Let’s say that you are a night life guy/girl, then once again Spestes is the island to go to.
